Fuel up Monday- August 25

Hello darl!

It's Fresh Start Monday!! Dull day for me so hoping yours is bright wherever you are.

Are your kids baking all the time? I gain weight so easily, sometimes I joke that if I look at food long enough, I'll feel my body expanding! Summer holidays don’t make it easier with the kids baking, holidays abroad and a routine that often goes right out the window.

That’s why, in my 100-Day boost2lose programme, I always ask the ladies to choose one thing they can do consistently for the next three months that will move the needle on their health. I don’t just ask them, I do it too.

This time, I’ve chosen something active. I’ll be away celebrating in September and I don’t want to be a party pooper, so I’ve committed to 30 minutes on the treadmill plus keeping up my strength training(day 82). It takes me right up to my birthday so this will be a little gift to myself. I still love my outdoor walks, but I know the treadmill gives me the extra push to pick up the pace and to balance out the holiday indulgence.

Will I do it daily? Nooo, but that’s okay. If I come out at 70%, that’s still a long way from zero but I hope to do much better as a rhythm of taking a break every 3 days is sustainable.
