Boost Within - Aug 25

Hey darl,

It’s Growth Week,  the first Monday of the month (well… Tuesday now, because real life, right?) and I feel so wobbly stepping into August.

I’ve really been putting in the effort this 2025 but I keep wondering if I’m pouring into the right places. The hours keep rolling and with working for myself it sometimes feels like I don’t have the right to switch off so I end up striving like "I’m running out of time"(to quote Hamilton).

This morning, my verse from Psalm 119:49–50, invited me to stop and ask God to help me remember His word, not the anxious thoughts or the unending list of things left undone.
I was also reminded that His promises give me life.

So maybe you’re feeling the same, uncertain, overstretched and doing your best to grow but not sure if it’s working. Let’s remind ourselves that growth doesn’t always feel like winning, it feels more like effort, a lot of wobble and showing up when we’d rather not.

This month, I’m reading 31 CEOs Who Mean Business with my daughters. It’s technically a book for teens, but mama needs some boldness too! The introduction reminded me that the tools we need for life are doggedness, heart, faith, community  and a pack of biscuits in my case(did I just share that?!).

✨ And you? Where are you at this August?
